Finishing up an exhausting yet exhilarating 3 months in South America, we have moved onto our next continent. After 2 days of flights with layovers in Lima and Amsterdam, we arrived safely in Istanbul, Turkey a few days ago. Enjoying Heinekens in Holland, burgers with truffle sauce and salads with fresh herbs in the airport we got so excited for the food change in Europe! Our final 3 months will be spent in Turkey, Eastern Europe and finished off in Italy.  In Eastern Europe we plan to visit Greece, Bosnia, Croatia and Hungry.

We made a bittersweet decision last week to save New Zealand, for another time and have re-routed our flights home to the states in mid-July. This decision was based on a number of factors such as budget, burnout, and a touch of homesickness. It was not best for us to leave the most expensive country to the end! New Zealand is a big one on our list and we want quality time in this country, not during their winter, which is when we would have ended up there. Also, we didn’t want to not appreciate our time there if we are feeling burnt out of traveling.

Mid-July will bring us home at our one-year point of being on the road. We will be ready for the CO summer! Our thought for the remainder of July is to road trip in CO, make it to CA to see some of Zane’s family in the beginning of August, then move back into our place early August as our tenants lease will be up. Then it will be time to find jobs and get settled back into ‘real’ life! We will be sending out calls for help to all of our friends and connections so keep your ears open!!

So, will the fun ever end……..?
The answer is no……..the fun will never end as long as we are together!!!!
