Balance

Trying to maintain a balance while traveling is one of the most important things for your health.  We downloaded movies and TV series to have ready when we were exhausted and needed to feel a bit of normalcy from home.  Keeping up with some news, buying new music and keeping in touch with family and friends over email, FB or Skype is also important.  But don’t let FB and keeping up with home take away from where you are currently and the new people you are meeting.

Another important balance for us was meeting new people and having our alone time.  We chose to spend more money on a bit better accommodation in private rooms to obtain this much-needed balance.   It is also so healthy to plan some time apart.  Workout separately or decide to spent an afternoon apart, it will do wonders for your mind, soul and attitude.
